Under the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Sberbank has signed the memorandum of understanding with Croatia’s Agrokor Group, the largest privately owned retailer and food producer in Southeast Europe.

The memorandum was signed by President, Chairman of the Executive Board of Sberbank Herman Gref and President of Agrokor Group Ivica Todoric.

The memorandum foresees long-term cooperation development in the markets of Russia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia. Among the spheres of cooperation, there are investment banking products, joint sales channels, installation of the bank terminals and ATMs and others.

Sberbank and Agrokor Group are long-term partners. In 2014 the companies have signed the agreement on lending in the amount of 600 million euro, and in 2016 the additional loan in the amount of 350 million euros has been granted.
