Dr Megan Meier of Oklahoma City originally posted the photo to a group of physician moms because she thought they would enjoy “seeing a visual representation of what we do each and every day.” But her photo has struck a chord will all working parents and is being shared all over the world.
“I have connected with so many strong, interesting people who have shared their stories, their struggles and their victories. It’s pretty awesome. Fortunately for me, the teams I care for are very supportive of my situation, which has made these types of stressful scenarios so much easier.”
Meier is the team physician for Putnam City North High School football team, the University of Oklahoma, the Oklahoma City Ballet and many other local dance groups.
