The Embassy of Cyprus organised a reception to mark the National Day of the country.

Andreas Fotiu, the Ambassador of Cyprus to Serbia, orchestrated the celebration at the Metropol Hotel in Belgrade.

The event was graced by a distinguished assembly from the diplomatic community, as well as representatives from the European Union and notable personalities from the public and political landscape of Serbia.

The National Day of Cyprus is commemorated as the day of the island’s declaration of independence, which was under the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom until 1960.
