More people are now dependent on fewer support services to fulfil their most basic needs of food, clothing and shelter.
“We at Refugee Aid Serbia have been distributing hot meals, clothing, hygiene products and other essential items to asylum seekers in the parks of Belgrade since March. We rely on individual or corporate donations to acquire these items. At present we do not have enough to meet the huge needs we are encountering,” says Felix Thomson, Volunteer Coordinator at Refugee Aid Serbia.
