H.E. German Ambassador to Serbia Axel Dittmann awarded scholarships to 30 students of the Zoran Djindjić Foundation and the DAAD (German organization for exchange students).
The Zoran Djindjić Foundation awarded scholarships for the 13th time. In total, this program, which primarily enables young and successful students to gain experience in Germany, has included the participation of 600 scholars from the region.
DAAD annually awards about 500 scholarships for young people, enabling youngsters from Serbia to study in Germany, but also young Germans to do likewise in Serbia.
“Threaded connections of young and educated people make ties between Serbia and Germany even stronger,” said Ambassador Dittmann.
In addition to the 30 scholarship receptions, the presentation was attended by representatives of the Eastern Committee of German Economy, Ružica Djindjić, as well as numerous representatives of political, economic and diplomatic milieu Serbia.
