Zentiva Srbija – Recipient Of The Global Acknowledgement Great Place To Work®

Behind the Zentiva Serbia team stands a unique development story, whose excellence is a reflection of trust, respect and support. This has now been officially confirmed by the world recognition – Great Place to Work®.

Great Place to Work® is a globally renowned organisation that relies on defined evaluation methods to determine the level of employee satisfaction and acknowledge those companies that successfully nurture a professional culture in the workplace and care for their employees.

“The start of our story dates back a decade, when just a few ambitious individuals, with a great vision and clear goals, directed their energies towards a start-up. Our team today numbers just over 30 members and we are among the top seven generic pharma companies in Serbia. We’ve grown organically along the way, building the culture of the company on the basis of trust, support and an openminded way of thinking. Our team developed further with the arrival of each individual who represents a fusion of character and competence, who is ready to create and not just follow. We are aware that enjoying work is key, and we consequently create and grow with joy, respecting each other’s successes, which makes us different and recognisable. As long as we believe in these values, we will be recognised as a “great place to work”. I am grateful to every individual who contributed to that also being made official with a recognised certificate,” says Jelena Nikolić, Zentiva Cluster Head West Balkans and Country Manager Serbia and Montenegro.

With a dedicated team of more than 4,500 employees and a developed network of production locations – including its flagship sites in Prague and Bucharest – Zentiva endeavours to support the everyday healthcare needs of patients by providing branded generic medicines and OTC products

Zentiva is a multinational company that’s recognised in Europe and further afield as a producer of high-quality, affordable medicines. With a dedicated team of more than 4,500 employees and a developed network of production locations – including its flagship sites in Prague and Bucharest – Zentiva endeavours to support the everyday healthcare needs of patients by providing branded generic medicines and OTC products.

In April 2020 Zentiva Pharma acquired the Alvogen company’s operations in the Central and Eastern European region and thus launched its operations in Serbia. The company’s motto is that healthcare should be a right and not a privilege. The Zentiva team in Serbia strives to develop the same credibility on the local market by building highly professional cooperation with all segments of the healthcare system and to be better in doing so every day.
