This year’s Festival of French Film will be held in Belgrade, Niš and Novi Sad from 14th – 18th June 2023, with a special additional screening to take place in Zrenjanin on 23rd June. The godfather of this year’s edition of the festival is film director Srdan Golubović.
In accordance with the FFF’s pre-existing tradition, audiences will have an opportunity to watch several films from this year’s Cannes selection, and to do so in an outdoor setting at attractive locations across Belgrade, Niš and Novi Sad. Festival venues in the capital itself include Kosančićev Venac, then the Danube riverbank in Dorćol at the extremely popular Silosi art centre and the plateau between the two Ušće towers, while MTS Hall has been reserved for indoor screenings. Elsewhere, films will be screened in the hall of the Cultural Centre of Novi Sad and Niš’s Vilin Grad cinema.
A special screening of the Sébastien Tulard film Sugar and Stars will take place at 9pm on 23rd June in the Zrenjanin City Gardens, representing the town’s most attractive outdoor location, with the support of the Cultural Centre of the City of Zrenjanin.
This review of the latest from French cinematography, organised by the French Institute in Serbia and under the general sponsorship of company MLEKOPRODUKT, will this year be complemented by the sampling of fine French cheeses of the Ile de France brand, which are distributed in Serbia exclusively by MLEKOPRODUKT, as part of the SAVENCIA group. MLEKOPRODUKT’s participation in this important cultural event celebrating French film art provides yet more confirmation of the company’s commitment to CSR principles through its active support of culture and international artistic collaborations.
Entrance to screenings is free of charge. Check out the Festival’s full programme via the website www.festivalfrancuskogfilma.rs
