Svetoslav Atanasov

Appointed New General Manager of Coca-Cola HBC Serbia & Montenegro

Svetoslav Atanasov is appointed General Manager of Coca-Cola HBC Serbia and Montenegro. He is coming to the helm of the company from the position of General Manager of Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria he held from 2014.

He launched his extensive career in the company in 1999, within an internship program, and soon landed a job in the marketing team. Since 2006, he held several key positions in the Sales and Marketing Departments, and as of 2010, he was also in charge of cooperation with key accounts. He soon assumed the position of Country Sales Manager and three years later he became General Manager.

Svetoslav Atanasov will continue to develop business operations in Serbia, with a special focus on continuing with employee education, further strengthening of customer relations and improving quality of life in the community.

“An opportunity to lead the most successful team within the Coca-Cola HBC Group is an exceptional honour and I am particularly happy to join them in the year of celebrating half a century of business operations in Serbia. I am certain that in this anniversary year we will set together new foundations for growth in the next 50 years. It is a huge challenge for me, but bearing in mind the strength and commitment of the team in Serbia and Montenegro developed by Aleksandar Ružević, I believe in joint successes and sustainable growth of the company,” said Atanasov.

Having achieved exceptional business results in three years at the helm of Coca-Cola HBC Serbia, Aleksandar Ružević will continue his career in Coca-Cola HBC Russia. As the newly appointed General Manager of the largest market within the Coca-Cola HBC Group, covering more than 140 million people, Ružević will lead a team of 10,000 with his expertise and know-how.
