Within the Molière days, more than 50 students from the University of Belgrade, Kragujevac, Niš and Novi Sad gathered at the French Institute, in the presence of writer Nathalie Azoulai.
The gathering aims to select the winners of this year’s Goncourt Prize of Serbian students. They chose one of four novels from the last selection of the French Goncourt Prize.
After a live discussion, explanation, voting, a decision was made and, in the presence of H.E. Frédéric Mondoloni, the French ambassador to Serbia, this year’s winner was declared – Véronique Olmi and her novel Bakhita, a magnificent story about overcoming life’s difficulties and grace.
