Ambassador H.E. Alberto di Luca has visited Shelter for children (Prihvatilište za decu) and confirmed the support of the Embassy of the Order of Malta in Serbia of the project “A hot meal in a cold winter“ during the winter 2017-2018.

It’s already the third consecutive year that the Embassy collaborates with this humanitarian Institution which takes care of up to 28 children deprived of parental care, street children or victims of violence, and, even in the extreme cases, victims of human trafficking.

The meeting with the Ambassador di Luca was a good opportunity to celebrate Ivana’s 10th birthday (on the photo, sitting left to the Ambassador). She was pleased to receive a huge cake to share with her friends and she expressed her happiness by giving us a present she made by herself in this Institution which affectionately takes care of lonely children.
