The world’s largest bottle of whisky, christened “The Fearless,” has fetched a staggering $1.4 million, as revealed by the auction house Lyon and Turnbull. Towering at 1.83 meters, the bottle secured its place in the Guinness Book of Records in September 2021, holding an impressive 311 liters—equivalent to 444 standard bottles.

Produced in 1989 at the Macallan distillery in the Scottish town of Speyside, the whisky boasts a pale golden hue and a sweet taste, tinged with notes of apple. The spirit matured for 32 years in oak casks before it was bottled in 2021.
