Staff at the American Embassy in Belgrade have provided two large vans of humanitarian aid for the people of Ukraine. They were presented to Ukrainian Ambassador Oleksandr Alexandrovich by the charge d’affaires of the US Embassy, John Ginkle.
“This aid is in support of people going through this tragedy, it includes medicines, bandages, medical supplies, baby food, diapers, hygiene products and clothes”, said Ginkle, pointing out that the humanitarian aid was a contribution from all embassy staff, both Serbians and Americans, who care about what is happening in Ukraine.
He also mentioned to Tanjug that US Ambassador to Belgrade Christopher Hill is starting the necessary consultations and meetings in Washington as preparation for taking office in Belgrade, and that the date of Ambassador Hill’s arrival has not yet been specified, but he expects it to be in a few weeks.
