The Conference “Siemens – Partner for a sustainable transition to 4.0 Industry” was held with the aim of pointing out the key challenges of the “Fourth industrial revolution” and the ways in which the process of digitisation affects business in the modern world.
The event was organised in cooperation with Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce (AHK).
Ksenija Karić, director of the Digital Factory of Siemens Serbia, said that this company introduces innovative solutions for a new era of production, while German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Martin Knapp pointed out the importance of Industry 4.0 to the national economy.
The speakers who presented the latest findings in this field included Leonhard Muigg, coordinator of Industry 4.0 at the level of Siemens Austria and CEE, Werner Schoefberger, director of the Processing Automation Department of Siemens Austria and Marko Nikolić, an expert in automation and energy efficiency at Siemens Serbia.
