Amendments to tax legislation should be the reform priority of the new Serbian Government, agreed members of the National Alliance for Local Economic Development (NALED) at the 10th annual meeting of the organisation, held on the premises of the National Bank of Serbia.
Among the five most important regulatory issues for improving the business environment, they also included regulations on e-commerce, taxation and social security contributions on income, regulations governing the operation and position of local governments, as well as regulations in the field of environmental protection.
“We hope that we will get a government with which we will be able to work quickly and efficiently and NALED will propose to ministries that they implement the reform priorities selected by our members,” said Ana Brnabic, President of the NALED Managing Board.
