The Serbian government has established a National Volunteer Application Platform on the address www.budivolonter.gov.rs.

We call on all non-at-risk citizens who want to help our elderly and other at-risk populations to apply because solidarity and empathy for the most vulnerable during the coronavirus pandemic are crucial, and only together can we win it.

Interested citizens can apply in two ways – by filling in the application form at www.budivolonter.gov.rs or by calling the COVID-19 Contact Centre free of charge on 19819 every day from 08.00 to 22.00.

Once the application is approved by the competent services, volunteers will be contacted by city and municipal centres with detailed instructions and first tasks.

All applications submitted by interested citizens who wish to help and a volunteer will be checked, with the aim of preventing even the slightest misuse.

The National Volunteer Application Platform “Be a Volunteer” has been made by the Emergency Sector of the Ministry of the Interior and the Office for Information Technology and E-Government, in collaboration with the “Serbia Creates” platform, with the support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
