Arsenal Fest 11

Arsenal Fest 11 will be held on June 24th, 25th and 26th in Kragujevac, where Yngwie Malmsteen, Dub FX, Dubioza kolektiv, Riblja čorba, Bajaga i Instruktori, Partibrejkers, Hladno pivo and numerous other regional performers will perform. Arsenal is the first big domestic festival this summer, which will be held in front of the audience, with respect for all necessary health measures, and the slogan – “Strong with music”.

Given that the global music industry is just opening after a year or so of the Kovid blockade, and the arrival of foreign bands is still logistically difficult, this summer Arsenal is more focused on some of the most important and influential names of regional music, with traditional space for new and comming musicians.

Legendary Partibrejkers, Bajaga i Instruktori and folk punks Brkovi will play on the Arsenal’s Main Stage on the first night, while June 25th belongs to Zagreb punk rockers Hladni pivo, international Balkan-ska attraction Dubioza kolektiv and Australian musician Dub FX. Owner of the hits “Flow”, “Love Someone” and “So Are You” has already delighted the audience of Arsenal in 2017.

The final evenings in the unique open space of the “Knežev arsenal”, a former 19th century ammunition factory, belongs to Osvajači (celebrating 30 years of their debut album “Krv i led”), Orthodox Celts and world renown guitar hero Yngwie Malmsteen- for the first time in Serbia! It should be especially pointed out that one of greatest rock bands in former Yugoslavia Riblja čorba, returns with performances on June 26th in Kragujevac after an extremely difficult year during which they lost their member Miša Aleksić (1953-2020) due to Kovid-19.

“Arsenal is the first gig of Čorba without our brother Miša. It will be unimaginably difficult for us without him on bass, but we know that he is watching us from above, whishing us to continue. On bass will be our technician Ivan Stanković Ivke, who has already changed Miša in Kruševac. It is true that we have not played for a long time and we are all very excited about playing at Arsenal. At the very thought of the performance, I am dying of fear. But we will practice and be great, because we owe it to our loyal fans and to Miša “, says frontman Bora Đorđević.

Bands Bjesovi, KBO!, Obojeni program and Repetitor will play on the Garden Stage on the first night, along with Darkshines, Keni nije mrtav, Kruševac geto and Funk Shui, then on June 25th we will hear performers Nikola Pejaković Kolja, Nikola Vranjković, Svemirko, Nikom ništa, Kika, Dram, Klinac and Kendi. Final night of Arsenal 11 belongs to Kanda Kodži i Nebojša, Pero Defformero, Texas Flood, Peter Vein, Dead Joker, Gazorpazorp, Ivan Jegdić, Voyage and Sajsi MC.

Gorache b2b Shoomadisco, Battric & Mivu, Runy and Vladimir Aćić will come to Explosive DJ Stage on June 24, Hunckie b2b Petrovitz YU, Kristijan Molnar, Andrew Meller and Lea Dobričić on the second night, and finally on June 26th will hear Sale Jovanović & Markwood (LIVE), Bokee, Wise D & Kobe and Dejan Milošević.

Unfortunately, due to the still unfavorable global situation with the Kovid-19 pandemic, Placebo and Gogol Bordello will not go on the planned tours, so they are not able to come to Kragujevac this summer, but their performances have been transferred to Arsenal Fest 2022, whose dates are to be announced later. A ticket purchased only for June 23, 2020, or June 24, 2021 with the Placebo band logo, remains valid for the next Arsenal and the day the Placebo will play. If anyone wants, the refund starts on January 1, 2022.
