Wiener Städtische Insurance company is the winner of Dobročinitelj (Benefactor) award

The company Wiener Städtische Insurance received the Dobročinitelj (Benefactor) award for socially responsible activities implemented during 2021, 2022 and 2023. By initiating its own programs or in partnership with organizations and the community, the company has executed successful humanitarian, environmental and educational activities, and has made a significant contribution in the area of culture and art.

In addition to financial support in the implementation of numerous projects, the corporate volunteering program “Chain of Kindness”, which has been performed since 2011 by employees of Wiener Städtische Insurance, dedicating one day a year to volunteer actions, is particularly important. The activities carried out by Wiener volunteers are oriented to socially vulnerable groups but also to the widest community because they contribute to raising awareness on important topics such as social inclusion, environmental protection and sustainable growth.

“Dedication to the community in which we operate is one of the key values of our company. We are especially proud that our support to significant humanitarian and other projects is accompanied by personal engagement of employees through our corporate volunteering project “Chain of Kindness”. This program has encouraged us for years to raise the level of our corporate and personal activism around significant social topics and to help individuals and groups from our nearest environment. Each employee has done a good deed in their local community in the last 13 years that the program exists, and only in the last three years 1,400 volunteers have carried out over 70 actions and this recognition is an excellent motive to continue to cultivate good deeds and string more links to our “Chain of Kindness” – stated Svetlana Smiljanić, member of the Executive Board of Wiener Städtische Insurance,  at the time of the award ceremony.
