Wreaths were laid at the French military cemetery in Belgrade on 11th November, WWI Armistice Day, by H.E. French Ambassador Christine Moro, H.E. German Ambassador Axel Dittmann, Belgrade City Manager Goran Vesić, and representatives of the Serbian Defence Ministry and the diplomatic corps, including Head of the EU Delegation, H.E. Michael Davenport, and U.S. Ambassador to Serbia H.E. Kyle Scott.

“Marking 11th November in Belgrade is also a reminder of the Franco-Serbian friendship that was forged during the First World War. This brotherhood-in-arms does not belong to the past, rather it is also part of today,” said Ambassador Moro.
