The Fourth Balkan Cheese Festival, held at Belgrade’s Mixer House, attracted great attention from Belgrade’s lovers of cheese and wine.
A wide range of rare and autochthonous types of cheeses from the Balkans and the Mediterranean was presented at the festival, where, alongside Serbian cheeses, cheeses from Croatian, Montenegro, Italy, Bosnia and Macedonia were also presented.
More than 30 exhibitors presented real artworks of cheese, around 100 types, most of which are difficult to be found in retail stores.
The festival’s special guest was Mrs Pauline Menthonnex Gacaferri, Chargé d’Affaires at the Swiss Embassy in Belgrade.
