Aleksandar Bogdanović Is The New President Of The Executive Board Of Mobi Banka

After all the necessary approvals from the National Bank of Serbia, the first digital bank in the region will be led by Aleksandar Bogdanović as the President of the Executive Board of Mobi Banka.

Our vision is very clear – to provide even better digital banking services and strengthen the position of a leader in the field of primary digital banking. The positive business result we achieved at the end of last year gives us the opportunity to focus on the development of new value for our clients, investments and innovations in the coming period”, Bogdanović said.

Many years of his experience in leading positions of international companies and exceptional expertise in the field of strategy and business development played a key role in reaching a major milestone for the Bank in the previous year – the establishment of stable profitability.

“It is a great honor to be leading a team of over 350 professionals. We already have great achievements behind us, but also many lessons learned. Experience comes from mistakes and successes, and that’s why I’m absolutely sure that in the coming period we will really push the boundaries and set new standards for digital banking in Serbia,” added the newly elected president of Mobi Banka.

As the Chief Commercial Officer within the top management, Aleksandar managed many business segments, primarily the marketing and sales sectors. He dedicatedly worked on expanding the Bank’s credit offer, increasing the client base, which has over 750.000 clients today, and reorganizing the teams within the Bank. During the previous year, Bogdanović was at the head of the team that dedicatedly worked on defining the five-year strategy of Mobi Banka.

He graduated from CDI College in Canada in the field of information technology, and received his master’s degree in business administration from Cardiff University, London School of Commerce. He has been working at Mobi Banka since 2020.
