The biggest agribusiness event in this part of Europe, the 83rd International Agricultural Fair, took place at the Novi Sad Fair from 14th to 20th May.

According to the Executive Director for Integrated Marketing Communications Jelena Marinković, close to 125,000 visitors came to Novi Sad Fair, the oldest fair company in the country, over seven days. Compared to last year, this year’s international agricultural fair was more successful in terms of the number of foreign exhibitors, international activities, visitors and the fact that the exhibition area was 10 per cent bigger.

This year, 1,500 exhibitors participated in the Fair where they presented products and services from 60 countries. Through joint appearances, companies from Italy, the official partner of the Agricultural Festival this year, showed the latest products and services in agribusiness and related industries.

Companies from Austria, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro, The Czech Republic, Greece, The Netherlands, Croatia, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Hungary, Macedonia, Germany, Poland, Serbia, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, and United Arab Emirates exhibited directly at the Fair. Also, more Chinese companies exhibited this year.
