Istvan Pastor, president of the assembly of the Serbian autonomous province of Vojvodina, called on Tuesday provincial elections for 24 April, so they will take place alongside parliamentary and local ones.

The provincial assembly has 120 deputies, and their seats are distributed according to the proportional system for the period of four years.

Under the Statute, the president of the assembly calls the elections, 90 days before the end of its term in power, and they are due to be completed in the next 60 days.
