The United Arab Emirates sent a plane of an emergency delivery of humanitarian and medical aid to Serbia, which today landed in Belgrade.

Humanitarian aid was sent according to the instructions of H.E. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Commander-in-Chief of the UAE Armed Forces, under the supervision of H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and H.E. Mubarak Saeed Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Serbia and other Serbian officials and diplomats from the UAE.

The plane from Abu Dhabi, with medical and protective equipment from the United Arab Emirates to Serbia, has arrived in Belgrade tonight after 1.00. It is the first part of a donation from the UAE.

A total of 10 tons of equipment is delivered: 13,750 protective suits, 15,000 hospital suits, 500,000 gloves, 30,000 shoe protectors, 20,000 masks and 6,000 sanitizers. Ventilators will arrive in the next tour.

The aid from the UAE was agreed a few days ago after talks between President Aleksandar Vucic and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE Crown Prince.
