Prime Minister Ana Brnabić announced that at today’s joint session, two crisis response teams will consider whether further action is needed to combat coronavirus
Asked if any measures could be taken before the introduction of the 24-hour ban on movement, PM Ana Brnabić said in the morning programme of Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) that the measures will be considered today.
There are other measures we have talked about, including closing the focal points to keep the virus from spreading in some cities with no coronavirus-infected persons, the Prime Minister repeated.
According to her, there are more measures before the complete ban of movement that will be considered today.
Brnabić pointed out that there is no need to panic and that the citizens will be duly informed.
It seems to me that we are functioning better as a society, she said but warned that any indiscipline will be duly punished.
Brnabic reiterated that citizens’ solidarity is needed and that the more disciplined we are, the less restrictive the measures would be.
Otherwise, the state will take even more restrictive measures, she said adding that Serbia does not compare with other countries, but is fighting for every human life.
