The Ambassador of Qatar in Belgrade, H.E. Faris Roumi Mohammed Shaheen Al-Nuaimi, handed the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, a letter from the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, with an invitation to attend the World Cup, which will be held in Qatar in November.

During the conversation, Ambassador Al Nuaimi told Vučić that the Qatar Investment Fund is considering the possibility of investing in projects in Serbia.

On that occasion, President Vučić pointed out that the relations between the two countries are friendly, and that there is significant room for their improvement, especially in the area of ​​commodity exchange and investments from Qatar on the Serbian market, the press service of the president announced.
