Her Majesty Queen Elisabeth opened up Windsor Castle last month to her 500 staff and guests for an ABBA inspired party it has been revealed.

According to The Mail on Sunday, Her Majesty gave permission for a party to be held in the castle for her hardworking staff and their guests.

For £12.50 a ticket, the party attendees were treated to a showing of the blockbuster film Mamma Mia!, as well as live music from an ABBA tribute band.

One Windsor resident told the Mail: “Members of the Royal Household were allowed to buy tickets for themselves and guests.

The Queen is reportedly a huge fan of ABBA and loves to dance along to the music
