Rolling Stones legend Mick Jagger is expecting the latest addition to his brood with ballerina Melanie Hamrick, 29 – but he is said to have mixed feelings about the impending new arrival.
A source told New York Post ‘He hasn’t responded to people sending him congratulations. Family is extremely important to him, and he is unhappy at the thought that when he should be teaching his kid to play catch, he’ll be 80 years old.’
Though Mick and Melanie – who were first romantically linked in 2014 – had been spending a lot of time together earlier this year, the ballerina hasn’t been seen backstage at his gigs since their show in Bogotá, Colombia, in March.
The claims follow reports that Jagger has agreed on a financial settlement with Hamrick before the baby arrives in December. He has given her legally binding assurances, which include monthly payments of €13,200 and a promise to buy her a house wherever she chooses to live. The payments, up until when the child is 18, would add up to €2.9million.
