Marrying into the royal family comes with a long list of rules that Meghan Markle is quickly learning for herself, even before she walks down the aisle.
While on an official visit to Cardiff, Wales, UK Prince Harry’s fiancée reportedly wrote something in the autograph book of a young girl, but Markle didn’t sign her name; giving autographs is strictly against protocol.
The prohibition against royal autographs is in place because there’s a risk of royal signatures being copied or forged.
So, you won’t see Prince Harry signing autographs for wellwishers either, although that hasn’t stopped him in the past.
