Adviser to the chief of staff of the Ukrainian president Mikhail Podoljak said that the Russian proposal for a demilitarized Ukraine, like Austria, is unacceptable.

Podoljak, who is also a member of the Ukrainian delegation, told local media that any peace agreement must be under Ukrainian conditions that protect its sovereignty, reports the BBC.

Furthermore, the International Court of Justice ordered Russia to stop military actions in Ukraine.

“The Russian Federation must immediately suspend the military operations that began on 24 February 2022 on the territory of Ukraine until a final decision in the case”, reads the decision of the United Nations Supreme Court, which was supported by 13 judges, while two were against, reports Reuters.
