Belgian residents are among the wealthiest in Europe, with their wealth significantly exceeding the eurozone average, according to the National Bank of Belgium (NBB).

The total net wealth of households in Belgium was estimated at €2.8 trillion at the end of 2022, reports The Brussels Times.

The average household wealth in Belgium stands at €555,000, which is nearly nine times the annual household income.
