The inaugural Serbia-Switzerland Innovation Forum, featuring the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Serbia and the Swiss company Novartis, has opened in Belgrade.
The event will bring together experts from Serbia and Switzerland to exchange knowledge and ideas aimed at advancing global innovation and startups.
Jacques Ducrest, Head of International Relations at the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research, and Innovation, highlighted Serbia’s significant investments in innovation and startup development, commending the country’s success in fostering collaboration and dialogue between the government, academia, and the private sector.
Swiss Ambassador to Serbia, Anne Lugon-Moulin, noted the exceptional cooperation between the two countries to date and affirmed Switzerland’s commitment to strengthening ties, particularly in the fields of startups and innovation.
