NELT’s intermodal terminal represents an upgrade of the existing system of integrated logistics and is open to all participants in the market when it comes to import, transit and export activities. The terminal is available to shipping companies, railway operators, logistics specialists and freight forwarders, but also manufacturers, brand owners and other distributors.
“Intermodal transport is synonymous with the economical, efficient and environmentally sustainable global movement of all kinds of goods. We at NELT aspire for our work to be recognised precisely according to these attributes. With the new set of logistics services that we are launching with the activating of our intermodal terminal, will enable our clients to reduce their logistics costs, but also bring faster, safer and better transport services. Regular weekly import-export container rail transport from the port of Rijeka to Nelt Dobanovci is the first of the services that we are making available to the market. An important factor for the country and society is the reducing of emissions and relieving of road infrastructure,” announced Ivan Miličević, manager of operations and development at NELT LSP.
The new NELT terminal is linked by rail to all European ports and inland terminals. Highways E-75 and E-70 intersect just six kilometres from the terminal, while Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport is ten kilometres away.
A customs office with warehousing operates within the NELT logistics centre, which enables the provision of full support and flexibility in different processes and goods flows.
