02.07.2016An official reception of the Embassy of Canada in Serbia marked the National Day of the country, at which H.E. Ambassador Philip Pinnington said that relations between the two countries are good, based on the work of a large number of people, and that the key link in our relations is formed by the Canadian companies that are investors in Serbia.
The LEADER Project Serbia, a Canadian educational programme from the Richard Ivey Business School, one of the top-ranked business schools in the world, has been officially launched in Belgrade, implemented for the first time by CANSEE, the Canadian-Serbian Business Association, in cooperation with both the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the Canadian Embassy in Belgrade.
07-09.03.2016The Embassy of Canada organised the Canada Days event in Novi Pazar from 7th to 9th March, in cooperation with local NGO Akademska Iniicijativa Forum 10. The event was supported by Novi Pazar City Hall, the Culture and Multimedia Centre of Novi Pazar and film distributor Megacom.
In collaboration with the Canadian Embassy in Belgrade and the Canadian- Serbian Business Association (CANSEE), ICT Hub held a one-day workshop entitled “Start-up Networking – Growth Hacking”.
Within the traditional anniversary of the death of British doctor Elisabeth Ross, the embassies of the United Kingdom, Australia and Canada, in cooperation with the National Museum in Kragujevac, organised a photographic exhibition entitled “Allied Medical Missions in Serbia 1914-1918: The Role of the UK, Australia and Canada” at the Residence of Prince Mihailo.
First, optimism: 2015 was generally positive, but it was also challenging, with uneven economic growth worldwide, the international security system strained by events in Ukraine and Syria, population movements that will have far reaching implications, and an increased threat of terrorism.
