The Memorandum on Electronic Data Exchange between Serbia and Hungary, signed in Budapest, is expected to ease cross-border economic cooperation and bring significant benefits to both businesses and citizens of the two countries, according to the Serbian government.
Signed during the 14th session of the joint commission for economic cooperation between Serbia and Hungary, the memorandum sets the foundation for speeding up the flow of goods at the Horgoš border crossing.
It was emphasized that the full implementation of this system will greatly reduce freight traffic congestion in the coming period and further strengthen the already strong political relations between Serbia and Hungary, which are currently at a historically high level.
