Serbian oil and gas company Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS), a subsidiary of Gazprom, along with its Scientific and Technological Center (NTC), has signed a memorandum of scientific and technological cooperation with China’s Sinopec Petroleum Engineering Corporation, part of Sinopec Group, one of the world’s largest oil and gas companies.

The two companies agreed to collaborate in the field of green energy and projects related to the collection, utilization, and storage of CO2, NIS announced.

The memorandum was signed during the visit of a Chinese delegation to NIS.
