Industrial production in Serbia in September this year was 4.6% higher than in the same month in 2023, according to the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia (RZS).

Compared to the 2023 average, industrial production in September 2024 increased by 5.4%. In the period from January to September 2024, industrial production was up by 2.8% compared to the same period in 2023.

The largest contributors to the growth in industrial production in September 2024, compared to September 2023, were the production of rubber and plastic products, metal ore mining, the manufacturing of computers, electronic and optical products, basic metals, and chemicals and chemical products, the RZS report states.
