Serbia’s information and communications technology (ICT) sector has shattered records in 2024, with exports soaring to €4.13 billion—an impressive 20% increase from the previous year.
This sharp rise marks the continuation of a decade-long transformation, during which the sector’s exports have grown a staggering tenfold since 2012.
Last year’s surplus hit €3.23 billion, up from €2.61 billion, further cementing the sector’s role as a cornerstone of Serbia’s economy.
This explosive growth is not just a number—it signals a strategic pivot towards tech-driven development.
With the ICT sector now considered one of the most dynamic and rapidly expanding industries, the Serbian government is committed to maintaining this momentum, positioning the country as a rising tech hub in the global market.
The sector’s growth offers a glimpse into Serbia’s future, where innovation and digitalisation are set to play an ever-increasing role in shaping its economic landscape.
