Croatia’s Prime Minister has announced that the country’s presidential election will take place on Sunday, 29 December.

Twelve potential candidates are vying for the five-year term, including current President Zoran Milanović, independent candidate Dragan Primorac backed by HDZ, and other representatives from across the political spectrum, such as Miro Bulj, Tomislav Jonjić, Dražen Keleminec, Niko Tokić Kartelo, Anton Filić, and Mislav Kolakušić. Female candidates include Marija Selak Raspudić, Aurora Weiss, Ivana Kekin, and Branka Lozo, according to Novi List.
