Belgrade is the second time host of the international conference on the real estate market of South-East Europe. The conference „Balkans Property Forum 2018“ will be held on 4th of December, at the Hotel Hilton Belgrade, Serbia.
The conference is organized by Property Forum, the leading property real estate platform in South East Europe in close cooperation with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). More than 150 experts from the real estate industry will gather in the Serbian capital to discuss key issues and explore the latest trends influencing the future of the real estate industry, with a special focus on the Balkan countries, especially Serbia, Bulgaria, Croatia and Slovenia.
The conference program will provide a detailed economic review of South Eastern Europe, with a focus on trends that define the future of the real estate industry and will explore the challenges property valuers face today.
Some of the conference topics will be: investment opportunities in the Serbian market, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, and a special discussion will be devoted to the developing markets in Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Some of the questions will be how much is Serbia attractive to new investors today, what are the obstacles in terms of legislation, what needs to be changed, what type of real estate the banks prefer to finance, how much from their perspective the market is risky and how accession of Serbia to EU will affect the property market in what degree, etc.
Innovation will be a key issue in all the panels, as new technologies are rapidly changing the rules of the property business and it is the missions of Property Forum and RICS to prepare real estate professionals for future changes affecting the profession.
