On a visit to Slovenia, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has posted on Instagram photos from a working dinner with Slovenian President Borut Pahor.
“Fantastic evening with mutual friend Tomaž Kavčič. Slovenia and Serbia will continue the path of sincere friendship, and thank you very much to President Borut Pahor for the attention, respect and hospitality he shown the Serbian delegation”, reads the text published on the Instagram profile ‘buducnostsrbijeav’, along with photos from the dinner.
Following earlier talks with President Pahor, President Vučić said that it is the responsibility of everyone in the Western Balkans to preserve peace and stability and that enormous energy will have to be invested to “prevent the policies of the past from leading us to any incidents or problems”.

After talks with Vučić, Slovenian President Pahor said that Slovenia supports the European ‘perspective’ of the Western Balkans and stressed that for peace and stability, leaders in the region must take care not to aggravate the situation with their actions or statements.
“I am delighted that Serbian President and friend Aleksandar Vučić decided that the first foreign country he would visit after the recent elections would be Slovenia”, said Pahor.
