After 127 days of restoration, Victor (Pobednik) monument was returned to the Belgrade’s Kalemegdan Fortress.
Citizens of Belgrade were eagerly awaiting the return of one of the symbols of Belgrade to its place.
The restoration that took almost four months to complete, brought the monument to shine again in its full splendour.

The Victor monument was restored in Zoran Kuzmanovic’s studio in Smederevo.
The monument was restored from the outside as well as from the inside. The aesthetic details were also taken care of, cleaned with a special method using dry ice, and all 132 screws that had already been worn were replaced.
