The BELGRADE AIRPORT company, part of the VINCI Airports company and the operator of the Nikola Tesla airport, put into operation a solar plant that provides the airport with electricity obtained from renewable sources.

The new solar power plant, with almost 3,000 solar panels, will annually produce around 1,130,000 kWh of green electricity, which is comparable to the annual consumption of approximately 430 households.

In this way, the airport will reduce CO2 emissions (scope 1 & 2) by 900 tons per year.
