Serbia won the first gold medal at the Olympic Games in Tokyo!
Back in 2012 in London Olympics, we were delighted by taekwondo represetative Milica Mandić who beat her rival from Korea Dabin Kor Lee 10: 6 in the finals of the + 67kg category.
Today, Milica brought Serbia the first gold medal, which is the third medal at the Olympic Games in Tokyo for Serbia, after Damir Mikec’s silver in the 10m air pistol discipline and Tijana Bogdanović’s bronze in taekwondo in the -49kg category.
Milica is the only Serbian female athlete to win two gold Olympic medals.
