International finance & banking magazine The Banker named Banca Intesa Bank of the Year in Serbia for 2018. The magazine‘s jury of experts relied on a number of criteria during selection, including a capital base, assets and portfolio quality, as well as implemented technological improvements, strategic initiatives and product competitiveness.

“It is our great honour that Banca Intesa was listed as the winner of The Banker magazine’s prestigious recognition for the eight-time and once again confirmed its leading position in Serbia. The bank recorded extraordinary business results this year as well, with further growth of credit support to the retail and corporate sectors, as well as with the increase of operational efficiency. In addition, we are continuously improving our business model through the continuation of the digital transformation of the bank as well, which is going to allow us to offer even more innovative services to our clients. That way, we will set the foundation of bank’s sustainable development in the future,” said President of the Banca Intesa Executive Board Draginja Đurić.
