The Commercial Exchange Between Serbia And Spain Is Constantly Increasing
Through the successful cooperative model and thanks to the development of agricultural technology, Spain has overcome its geographic-climatic limitations and has established itself as one of the world’s leading exporters of fruit and vegetables. The Spanish agricultural experience can help different sectors of Serbian agriculture, and one of the opportunities is at the International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad.
The Kingdom of Spain participates for the fourth consecutive year in the International Agricultural Fair (May 11-17) and presents its new technological advances in the main sectors of agriculture. Seven Spanish companies will be present in Hall 1 of the Novi Sad Fair at the Spanish National Pavilion, in collaboration with the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of Spain in Belgrade and Spanish Export and Investment Agency (ICEX). The fair is a good opportunity for Serbian farmers to exchange experiences with the representatives of the leading Spanish companies in the field of technology and agricultural equipment.
“Spain is particularly interested in the development of Serbian agriculture, taking into account the importance of the sectors for our countries,” says Mr. Javier Álvares, head of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of Spain in Belgrade, adding: “Spain had to overcome its climatic limitations, especially in the dry areas in the south, and is now the main producer of fresh fruit and vegetables in the European Union. This was possible thanks to the advanced technology developed by Spanish producers and that is why I believe that our experience can help Serbian farmers. We are glad to be back in Novi Sad. ”
The companies Caudal, Ima Greenhouses, RKD Irigation, Tradecorp, Fito Seeds, Saleplas and Novagric will present at the Fair their offer of irrigation systems, greenhouses, fertilizers and seeds.
