Under the slogan “Get Involved”, Societe Generale Bank utilises the Generator platform to collect and select 40 innovative, viable and sustainable entrepreneurial projects, regardless of the domain. In a year when Societe Generale Bank is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the opening of its first representative office in Belgrade, the bank is seeking to support entrepreneurial projects in this way that will generate the further development of innovation.

The “Generator” competition is open to all interested individuals, teams, entrepreneurs or firms wanting to launch a new business or develop their existing operations, and applications can be submitted until 10th October via online forms available at generator.rs. Only one application per participant is permitted.

Following the expiry of the application deadline, the 40 best innovations will be selected, presented on the site and promoted, while the public will be able to vote for the best project that will win the public award. The final selection will include 10 projects, with the ideas to be presented to a jury and included in the race for the main prize. The main prize, amounting to a million dinars, is provided by Societe Generale Bank, while the public award will total 500,000 dinars and awards will also be provided by partners in this competition.

“Generator” is an opportunity for participants to register projects that are primarily innovative, authentic and original, representing a new way of doing business, a new product or a new service, bringing value to end-users. Projects to be evaluated by the expert jury should be viable, with a plan of essential resources and funds, but also sustainable – with the potential to be profitable and with an existing plan for further development.

Societe Generale Bank’s partners on the “Generator” project include Vip mobile, the Maxi retail chain, internet advertising portal KupujemProdajem and the Centre for Technological Entrepreneurship and Innovation – ICT Hub.

For more information on the competition, visit the site generator.rs
