With the opening of the Sheraton, the city of Novi Sad got the first international hotel brand and the best possible hotel offer for business guests and numerous tourists.

“It is my great pleasure to have the opportunity to attend the opening of this hotel. This is another very important for Novi Sad, all its citizens, all guests and all those who are still planning to visit Novi Sad. With such a hotel, Novi Sad is becoming an even stronger tourist, congress and cultural center of our country, “said Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić.

MK Group President Miodrag Kostić said that the investment of the Sheraton hotel has the potential to change the trends of congress tourism in our country and the region, as well as the opportunity to contribute to the faster development of Novi Sad as the centre of congress tourism. “We are proud that as a company we recognise the potentials for the development of the economy and tourism of our country and the region. MK Group is today the only regional hotel company operating in Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia and Montenegro, and the certification of MK Group by Marriott is a remarkable success for a domestic hotel company,” said Miodrag Kostić.

Hotel Sheraton, a four-star hotel, is an investment by MK Group and is part of the strategy of expanding the hotel business of this company in the most attractive locations in the region. The first Sheraton hotel in Serbia operates under the franchise of one of the most famous hotel corporations in the world “Marriott International”, and has 150 superior rooms, of which nine apartments and one presidential suite.
