At the 60th International Mathematical Olympiad, held in the United Kingdom in July 2019, the Serbian mathematical team achieved the historic success in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO).
In the competition of 112 countries, the mathematical team from Serbia won a ninth place with 171 points and is among the top ten in the world.
All members of the team are students of the Mathematical Gymnasium from Belgrade.
Three gold medals, one silver and two bronze medals were won in the individual part of the competition.

The gold medals were won by Jelena Ivancic with 41 points from the maximum of 42, Pavle Martinovic and Aleksa Milojevic.
The silver medal was won by Miloš Miličev, and bronze Jovan Toromanović and Vladimir Viktor Mirjanić.
The team was led by Dr Bojan Bašić and Dr Marko Radovanović.
