Serbian ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Congo Miroljub Jevtić has submitted his credentials to Congolese Minister of Foreign Affairs Jean Claude Gakosso.

The development of bilateral relations was discussed during their meeting, and Minister Gakosso expressed the wish that they be further strengthened by a series of bilateral agreements on cooperation in the fields of economy, agriculture, education and other areas of interest.

Gakosso especially welcomed the wish of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Foreign Minister Nikola Selaković to develop relations with the francophone countries of Africa.
