The Member States of the European Union (EU) have decided to return Serbia on the list of epidemiologically safe countries, whose citizens will be allowed to travel to the EU.
At this morning’s meeting in Brussels, ambassadors of EU Member States supported the position that Serbia has a “satisfactory epidemiological situation” which enables its citizens to travel to EU Member States without restrictions.
Apart from Serbia, the countries that have been placed on the list of safe countries are North Macedonia, Albania, the United States of America, Lebanon and Taiwan.
This expanded list should start to be implemented officially on 18 June.
